'Little People, Big World' news: Season 13 release date yet to be announced; fans excited for more Jackson Roloff

Fans of the reality television series "Little People, Big World" are still waiting for TLC to announce the premiere of season 13. The 12th season ended on June 27 with nine episodes in total.

Production for season 13 has already commenced, and television star Amy Roloff provided a hint at the release date of the upcoming season. Roloff told a fan on Facebook that the show might return in March 2018. Roloff commented, "They are indicating March if not earlier." Not much information has been divulged ever since.

Season 12 ended with the introduction of Zach and Tori Roloff's new baby boy, Jackson. Several fans of the reality show are excited to see more screen time for Jackson in the upcoming season. Fans are also wondering if Jackson will have some screen time with his cousin Ember Jean Roloff. Ember Jean is the daughter of Jeremy and Audrey Roloff. Amy Roloff and her ex-husband Matt are also reportedly both engaged in new romantic relationships. Amy, however, has not released information on social media if the next season will give a lot of screen time for their new love interests.

Season 13 has already been confirmed, but so far, no further details are provided by TLC or the Roloff family. There are also no hints if the show will feature new special episodes. The last special episode of "Little People, Big World" aired on Mar. 25, 2014.

"Little People, Bit World" received fairly good reviews and score ratings from critics. TV.com gave the reality television series an 8.7 out of 10 score, and received 6.5 out of 10 from IMDb.

According to feedback from viewers, the Roloff family once again managed to become role models after the virtues they showed and expressed in season 12.

The show also received few negative comments, with some indicating that the entire series is scripted.
