'Little People, Big World' star Jacob Roloff announces engagement to Isabel Garreton

One of the stars of "Little People, Big World," Jacob Roloff, recently took to Instagram to announce his engagement to long-time girlfriend Isabel Garreton, commonly referred to as Isabel Rock.

On Saturday, Jan. 27, the 21-year old TLC star posted a photo of him and Garreton on his Instagram page with the announcement, "We got ENGAGED! It happened in Iceland on the frozen pond, Tjörnin, late on Christmas. So much love for this beautiful soul @izzysofia_ (Garreton). Here's to many more Christmas', you n me." The photo, where they are both smiling as Roloff gives Garreton a piggyback ride, has since received more than 32,000 likes as of the time of writing.

"Little People, Big World" is an American reality TV series by TLC about a regular family with members born with dwarfism. The series documents their daily lives and is shot out of their farm in Oregon. "Little People, Big World" was originally set for only six seasons but received multiple renewals due to popular demand and high ratings. The show currently just finished airing its twelfth season which ran until June 27, 2017.

There has been news in months past that the show will be continuing with a 13th season this year. An Instagram post by cast member Jeremy Roloff hinted that filming started as early as October 2017. Furthermore, the family matriarch, Amy Roloff, let it slip while answering questions from fans on her Facebook post that season 13 would premiere in March of 2018.

The series has garnered a strong following throughout the past decade since it first aired in 2006. Fans and critics have grown to admire the show for its positive portrayal of individuals with dwarfism. The show spreads awareness on the medical and social conditions that people with dwarfism encounter in their everyday lives.
