Liverpool vs Newcastle live stream: Watch online Premier League [start time, preview]

English Premier League

Liverpool will play Newcastle on Sunday on the final day of the English Premier League, and coming into the final day of the EPL 2014 season, the title has still not been entirely confirmed, with the Reds still in with a chance of stealing the championship from Manchester City.

Today's big game will start at 3 p.m. BST and can be watched online through live stream – free for subscribers – via the link provided below.

Just a few weeks ago Liverpool were in the driving seat and most analysts believed that they were going to claim their first Premier League title in more than two decades.

After their win over Manchester City it looked like the path was clear for them to finish top of the league.

However, a hugely disappointing result against Chelsea saw things open right back up and it appeared that the title race with City would go down to goal difference.

Then this past week something no one would have predicted happened. Liverpool were 3-0 up against Crystal Palace, surging forward trying to score more to close the goal difference gap with City. Then over the final 11 minutes of the game the Reds imploded.

Liverpool conceded three goals in the space of 11 minutes to drop two points, drawing the game 3-3.

A number of Reds players left the field in tears, believing that their title challenge was all but over.

Realistically not many believe Liverpool are in with a shot today. However, stranger things have happened in the past in football.

Liverpool need a massive favour from East London club West Ham, who have to travel to the Etihad Stadium in Manchester and defeat City to give Liverpool a chance.

If City lose to West Ham and Liverpool defeat Newcastle then the Reds will win the title still.

However, City have destroyed West Ham twice in 2014 alone, and even if West Ham put on a stellar performance and draw against City, a single point is likely to be enough for City – unless Liverpool defeat Newcastle by 14 goals!
