Liverpool vs Swansea is the big English Premier League game on Monday night with the Reds looking to maintain their perfect start to the new season and go top of the EPL table.

Liverpool have won three out of three so far this season and are the only English Premier League team remaining with a 100 percent record. They will have to play away today and overcome a difficult Swansea side if they are to gain all three points, however, they do in fact only need a draw and one point to move to the summit of the EPL.

In team news, Swansea manager Michael Laudrup has the luxury of virtually a fully-fit squad, so injuries and suspensions should not affect their preparations.

For Liverpool, in-form striker Daniel Sturridge should be fit to start despite missing England's matches with a thigh problem.

A victory would make it Liverpool's best start to a season since they were last the defending champions when they won their first eight league games of 1990-91.

Liverpool demolished Swansea 5-0 in February and they will hope to get a similar result today. However, prior to that game Swansea were a bit of a bogey team for the Reds, and in three prior games Liverpool were unable to score at all – drawing two 0-0 and losing one 0-1.

This is the 33rd meeting between the sides, and Liverpool have won 16 times, Swansea nine and there have been seven draws.
