Two alleged members of the infamous hacker group called Lizard Squad have been arrested, recent reports claim. The notorious crew repeatedly attacked and disrupted gaming companies over the past months "just for the lulz."

Two individuals claiming to be part of the group have been seized. The home of 22-year-old Vinnie Omari was raided by the United Kingdom police.

"They took everything," Omari, who said he is only a spokesperson for the group, told Daily Dot in an email.

His gadgets including "Xbox One, phones, laptops and computer USBs" were all confiscated and he spent four days in jail from Dec. 29. 

"The arrest is in connection with an ongoing investigation into cyber-fraud offenses which took place between 2013 and August 2014 during which victims reported funds being stolen from their PayPal accounts," Thames Valley authorities later said in a press conference.

PC World said he won't be locked up for the allegations until the hearing on March calls for it. However, still in police custody is 17-year-old Julius "Ryan" Kivimaki. The Finland resident boldly declares his involvement in the most recent attacks on the gaming consoles. 

Lizard Squad ruined Christmas for gamers when they encumbered both the Xbox and the PS4 online servers, which lasted until Boxing Day. The group initially claimed that their actions only serve as reminders for gamers to spend the holidays with their families. But those who got a brand new Xbox One or a PS4 from their loved ones were not happy at all. Then came a change in the storyline wherein Lizard Squad finally "confessed" the motivation behind the attacks, which they labeled as mere "commercials" or publicity stunts to sell their DDoS (distributed denial-of-service) Services. 

The group targeted Sony and Microsoft before along with game studios like Blizzard (maker of "World of Warcraft") and Activision. And no one can also forget their full-scale ploy that involved a bomb threat against a Sony executive.
