Former Viner and YouTube star Logan Paul is under serious backlash amid suicide forest video issue. Netizens, celebrities, and of course Japanese people are enraged over Paul's antics.

Paul made his biggest mistake in 2018 when he uploaded a video of him and his peers strolling along the Aokigahara forest in Japan. The video titled "We found a dead body in the Japanese Suicide Forest" generated over 1 million views before Paul took it down. In the video, Paul and his friends found a Japanese man who took his own life by hanging. Instead of calling the police or authorities, Paul decided to get a close-up shot of the dead man.

Celebrities, media outlets, netizens, and people from Japan slammed Paul for his poor-making decision. "Breaking Bad" alumnus Aaron Paul did not hold back with his statement toward the vlogger. "How dare you! You disgust me. I can't believe that so many young people look up to you. So sad. Hopefully this latest video woke them up. You are pure trash. Plain and simple. Suicide is not a joke," he tweeted.

A report by Kotaku listed Japanese comments on the said video. One individual wrote, "He's insulting Japanese people," and another said "I'll never forgive you for insulting Japan and the Japanese people."

Paul then posted an apology video to announce his decision to lay low for a while and to take some time "to reflect." Paul said in the video "I want to apologize to the victim and his family... I don't expect to be forgiven, I'm just here to apologize. I'm ashamed of myself. I'm disappointed in myself, and I promise to be better, I will be better."

The "So Sorry" video he uploaded did not do him any good because the video received over 1.2 million dislikes. Paul, however, did receive comfort from his longtime fans and wished him all the best.
