The fifth installment of "Longmire" now has an official release date.

Reports reveal that Netflix will drop the fifth season of the fan-favorite Western-themed crime drama on Sept. 23.

But aside from the release date, fans are also excited about what to expect in the upcoming season. Several speculations claim that Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) might find a new love interest in season 5 even if he has already been seeing Dr. Donna Monaghan (Ally Walker) since the previous season.

If the series will follow the events in the book written by Craig Johnson, Walt may start pursuing a relationship with his deputy, Vic Moretti (Katee Sackhoff). But it would be interesting to find out how the rumored relationship will start between the two since Walt was already seeing someone else.

Meanwhile, "Longmire" costume designer Daniela Moore revealed that the wardrobe used by the characters is one of the secrets why the show is considered one of the top series on TV at the moment.

"It's the medium where they're putting their money right now," Moore told Hollywood In Toto.

She also revealed that her job is more than picking clothes for the characters.

"People think I do a sketch, buy clothes and put it on the actors. There are so many different factors that go into it," she stated.

Moore explained that the costume design process for "Longmire" normally takes three weeks of preparation. She normally gets the first few details from the scripts so she can carefully study them to find out more details about each character.

"Where did this person come from? What do they do for a living? Is this a person with an arc throughout the season?" the costume designer stated.

The head of the costume department also mentioned that her partnership with the actors is also important to make the TV production work.
