The filming for "Longmire" season 5 continues to roll in New Mexico.

According to a report from LA Monitor, the cast and crew of the Western-inspired police procedural series are currently on location in New Mexico's Los Alamos townsite.

The report mentioned that lead star Robert Taylor, who portrays the role of Sheriff Walt Longmire in the series, gamely greeted several fans, including local swimming hero Aihnoa Briano-Medina, while shooting several scenes in town.

The Los Alamos locations of "Longmire" season 5 include several indoor scenes at a private home located in the Barranca Mesa neighborhood and an exterior scene filmed in the Guaje Pine Cemetery.

While the plot for season 5 is still kept under wraps, Just Jared Jr. exclusively revealed that 20-year-old actor Sterling Beaumon landed a recurring role as Andrew Price in the series.

The actor is known for portraying the role of young Benjamin Linus in ABC's "Lost" series. He also appeared on several TV shows such as "Criminal Minds" and "Law & Order SVU."

According to the character description, Andrew is a "smart-ass prep school kid" who could be related to Longmire's new love interest, Donna Monaghan (Ally Walker). The sheriff and his partner Vic (Katee Sackhoff) will catch him breaking into Donna's house, but the young man will claim that he is Donna's son.

Could this mean that Sheriff Longmire and Donna's blossoming romance will be cut short due to Andrew's sudden appearance?

Meanwhile, Sackhoff revealed that the upcoming season of "Longmire" will be action-packed, based on the images that she shared on Twitter.

In some of her posts, the actress and her co-star Cassidy Freeman are covered in bruises. This could mean that they have already shot several intense scenes for "Longmire" season 5.

Netflix is expected to reveal the release date of "Longmire" season 5 when the production concludes.
