'Love and Hip Hop: New York' cast updates: Erica Mena left show because of Cyn Santana?
Although Erica Mena already bade goodbye to "Love & Hip Hop: New York," issues about her exit from the VH1 series seem to hang about. For one, although she is now engaged to rapper Shad Moss a.k.a. Bow Wow, she is still bombarded with questions about her past relationship with Cyn Santana.
Talking to VH1, Santana revealed that Mena did not officially end things between them, which, in turn, surprised Santana when news about her then-girlfriend's engagement with Bow Wow made the rounds.
Santana revealed she was confused for a while as Mena allegedly did not take time to straighten things out or at least shed some light on the matter, adding that she does not expect her to do so anyway. But it looks like Santana is not one to hollow out the past and neither does Mena.
The reports suggest that Mena's exit from "Love & Hip Hop: New York" was prompted by her alleged difficulty in working with Santana. But her exit, as her fans know very well, is mainly due to her new ventures with Bow Wow.
Bow Wow assured fans via Access Hollywood Live that the former "Love & Hip Hop: New York" star, who announced her departure from the reality series via a letter she posted on Instagram, is "done" and is "out here full time now." At the moment, she is busy with her clothing line called HER.
"She's branching that out," the rapper shared to the aforementioned website about his fiancée who fully devotes her time on HER. "She's doing a lot of big things too and she's looking forward to the move."
"Love & Hip Hop: New York" may have lost Mena and the true reason behind it may remain a mystery, but fans continue to watch the action in the VH1 reality show, including singer Ciara, who revealed that she loves watching the series.
