The most recent episode of VH1's television series "Love & Hip Hop: New York" season 8 brought a lot of drama. One of the most surprising turnouts in the latest episode was Mariahlynn attacking Sofia, who is currently working with James R. After the whole fiasco involving Mariah and Sofia, the Anais and Ashley beef resulted in a truce.

Many fans were shocked with the incident between Mariah and James during Mariah's single release party. Mariah mentioned that she was open to giving James another chance but things quickly escalated downwards after that.

In a snippet from the third episode titled "Bodied," Mariah was seen attacking Sofia. The incident occurred during the shooting of James R's "Bad Girls" music video. Out of anger, James asked Mariah to go back to DJ Self's record label, Gwinin Entertainment.

Navarro was able to bridge the gap between his wife Ashley and Anais. The two came to an understanding about respect and finally called it quits. Meanwhile, another issue was brewing between Dream Doll, Bianca and Bri.

Lil Mo was still celebrating the release of her album. However, she was also dealing with a personal issue involving her husband.

A sneak peek trailer for next week's episode reveals Yandy finding out about Judy's involvement with another man. There are speculations about the possible appearance of model and an up-and-coming rapper Blac Chyna in the series.

During an interview with Wendy Williams, Mona Scott-Young, the producer of "Love & Hip-Hop: New York," said she hopes have Chyna in the show. Young said, "So, I hear Chyna's rapping now. So Chyna, I think she should be on Love & Hip Hop."

Blac Chyna hasn't commented on Young's statement and whether she is open to joining the series.

New episodes of "Love & Hip Hop: New York" season 8 air every Monday at 8 p.m. EST on VH1.
