VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" is back on air and just one episode in, Stevie J is already causing tremendous drama outside the show. The artist is threatening to quit and leave the show, even going on social media to air his disappointments.

After the first episode of the season aired, Stevie J went to Instagram to share the dirt on his contract with VH1.

He posted: "I'm shattering records! 6.5 million views on the debut of #lhhatl 4.5 million viewers on #theafterparty and I'm having contract disputes #IMOUT"

Apparently, the 43-year-old musician isn't quitting because there's something wrong with the show per se, he is quitting because he wants a raise and believes that he deserves it. Seeing that the premiere episode did well, Stevie J wants to be paid more for his appearances in the show.

He also tweeted: "I've made others happy for the last 3 years but now I'm hitting the reset button. Goodbye ATL."

It is uncertain whether he meant moving house or leaving Atlanta for good.

No one from the cast of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta," VH1, or even executive producer Mona Scott Young has made a comment about this. However, VH1 won't just be able to ignore the threats as Stevie J's storyline is one of the most popular in the show and he knows that.

In the first episodes, Stevie J will be appearing alone without Joseline Hernandez, who was suspended for four episodes. Right now, he is working with Mimi Faust and is even flirting with her, something that will really upset Joseline once she returns. This story arc is undeniably a huge factor in the success of this VH1 reality show.

There are rumors that Stevie J's finances are running dry, which is why he needs the increased pay for the show. On top of that, he is reportedly facing possible jail time for unpaid child support.

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" airs every Monday night on VH1.
