With the Worldwide Developers Conference just around the corner, fans are excited to see what Apple can offer for their consumers this year. However, in the midst of all the speculations, one stands out among the others: the unveiling of both the MacBook Pro and Macbook Air 2016.

According to Neurogadget, the newest MacBook Air will feature a better battery life, and will come with a new chassis since it's going to be thinner and lighter than its predecessors with its 11-inch thickness. Furthermore, it's going to have a USB Type-C port and will be powered the Intel Skylake processor, meaning this new Macbook Air model will boast better graphics quality and at the same time have more RAM support. Additionally, this device will reportedly use a Retina display as well as Force Touch, which includes a Touch ID.

Along with this latest Macbook Air, the MacBook Pro is also rumored to be revealed at the WWDC. It's been reported that this MacBook Pro 2016 will also have a lighter and thinner body as part of its redesign. What's more is that it has a resolution of 2304 x 1440 pixels because of its OLED display as well as a touch bar above the keyboard.

Also, it's speculated for the Butterfly key mechanism to make a comeback. It might also come with a force-sensitive keyboard instead of physical keys. The key layout will be lighted, and it will sport micro-perforations, which will ensure that the fingers will be placed on the correct part of the device.

With all this excitement for the MacBook Pro 2016, some rumors already state that the Macbook Air will soon be phased out. According to the University Herald, the Macbook Pro will become the top device in Apple while the MacBook will become a budget option instead. However, this is just a speculation, regardless of its feasibility.
