Apple has upgraded its 12-inch MacBook. Several improvements were made inside its all-aluminium chassis. It is now faster than the previous version as it is equipped with Intel's 6th Gen processor paired with 8 GB RAM, which is now the standard. A Rose Gold color is also available, which gives it four colors to choose from. The 13-inch variant of its MacBook Air is also now loaded with an 8 GB RAM.

The Cupertino-based tech giant has announced the updates that their 12-inch MacBook has received. This includes the sixth-generation dual-core Intel Core M processors that offers up to 1.3 Ghz and faster 8 GB 1866 Mhz RAM. Its GPU has also been upgraded to the newer intel HD Graphics 515. Additionally, flash memory will be faster in saving and fetching those files, as well as opening those important applications.

Battery was not forgotten and was also upgraded. The 12-inch MacBook will be able to provide up to 10 hours of internet browsing and up to 11 hours of iTunes movie watching.

A USB Type-C port was also added to provide a single contact for video output, charging and data transfer. Wireless connectivity was also bumped to the latest technology, including a dual band ac Wi-Fi adaptor and Bluetooth 4.0. This will make streaming to Apple TV a little faster.

The Rose Gold color is now available on the updated MacBook, in addition to the usual Space Gray, Gold, and Silver.

Meanwhile, the 13-inch variant of its MacBook Air will now be available with an 8 GB RAM configuration, which will surely enhance its performance.

The upgraded MacBook is now available at the company's online store, its physical retail stores and selected Apple Authorized Resellers. The 1.1 Ghz/256 GB storage variant is priced at US$1,299, while the 1.2 GHz/512 GB flash storage is priced at US$1,599. The 13-inch MacBook Air starts at US$999.
