MacBook Pro 2016 release date by Spring next year

It was previously reported that Apple's MacBook Pro 2016 might see an early release and hit store shelves before the end of December of this year. However, the expected announcement has come and gone without a single word from Apple, and according to the Australia Network News the laptop's release might be pushed back to Spring 2016.

According to the report, the MacBook Air 2016 will still be able to hit its expected late December release; however, the same won't happen for the MacBook Pro 2016. With the release of the iPad Pro 2016 at the end of the year, it is likely Apple will delay the MacBook Pro in order to avoid self-competition in the market.

By delaying the laptop by a few months, Apple will be able to shed the spotlight more on the new MacBook Air and the iPad Pro. Once sales have begun to dip, which is expected to occur a few months after they have been released, the company is expected to release the MacBook Pro to regain the consumers' interests.

However, no specific release date has been released. Apple is more known for releasing priority gadgets starting in September, as seen with the release of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, but the summer of 2016 would also mean less competition for the MacBook Pro. Unfortunately, at this point these details should still be treated as rumors.

In terms of capabilities, the MacBook Pro is rumored to utilize the new Intel Skylake-U processors, which makes it 10 percent faster in terms of CPU speed, and a 34 percent upsurge in regard to its synchronization with an Intel HD graphics card. The laptop will also reportedly sport a better battery, OS X, and significantly more RAM than the MacBook Air.

Like previous Apple devices, it may also feature improved fingerprint scanners, Touch Force capabilities and Type-C USB ports, although the latter is less likely than the former.
