It is Thanksgiving and many are going to be anticipating the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade this year. Whether at home, at the parade itself, or simply live streaming online, here are the important details.

Starting off with when it will take place. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2017 will begin on Nov. 23, Thursday. It will start airing at 10 p.m. EST to 1 p.m. EST on NBC. It will also be simulcast on Telemundo in Spanish. The big event, now on its 91st year, will start with a star-studded dance number before Matt Lauer, Al Roker, and Savannah Guthrie take over as hosts of the parade.

Just like with the years before, giant balloons, marching bands, and the craziest floats will be going all around New York City, making it an event that everyone has to see.

Expect to see the giant balloons of popular characters like Charlie Brown, Ronald McDonald, the Pillsbury Doughboy, the Angry Birds' Red, the red ranger of the Power Rangers, Scrat and his acorn from the "Ice Age" movies, Sinclair's Dino, Hello Kitty, Trolls, Spongebob Squarepants, Pikachu, Greg Heffley from "Diary of a Wimpy Kid," The Elf on the Shelf, Jett from Super Wings, Chase from Paw Patrol, The Grinch from Doctor Seuss, and the iconic snowman Olaf from "Frozen."

Of course, there will also be some novelty balloons because the big parade will not be complete without them. Macy's own Charlie, Kit, and C.J. Holiday Elves will be there, as will Harold the Policeman, Harold the Fireman, the Yellow Star, the Blue and White Macy's star, Pumpkins, Harold the Baseball Player, Rex the Happy Dragon, Cloe the Clown, the Christmas string of lights, the Red and Gold Macy's star, a Blue Ornament, and the Candy Cane.

This year's lineup of balloonicles include the Nutcracker and Mouse King, Bulldog Trycaloon, Tough Guy Trycaloon, and Aflac.

Another exciting part of the parade are the floats, and this year's floats will be just as exciting. The floats that will be there include the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the 1-2-3 Sesame Street, Gibson Brand's It's All Rock & Roll, Discover Adventure! From Build-A-Bear, KFC's The Colonel's Road Trip to NYC, Sprout's Universal Playground, Bravo's Top Chef's Torn Turkey, Macy's Rocking Lobster, Big City Cheer! From Spirit of America Productions, Delta Air Lines' Winter Wonderland, NY Daily News' Big Apple, Mount Rushmore's American Pride from South Dakota's Department of Tourism, On the Roll Again by the Homewood Suites by Hilton, McDonald's Big Red Shoe Car, Ocean Spray's The Cranberry Cooperative, Discover NHL's Frozen Fall Fun, Domino Sugar's Stirrin' Up Sweet Sensations, Snoopy's Doghouse, Macy's Santa's Sleigh, Rocking Horse and Rocking Giraffe, Hallmark Channel's Heartwarming Holiday Countdown, and Balsam Hills' Deck the Halls floats among many others.
