For those who plan to attend the parade, it is important to take note of the routes and map out their day accordingly to avoid unwanted traffic.
In a report by Metro, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade begins on the dot at 10 a.m. EST on Nov. 23 in Manhattan, New York City. For those who would want to get a premium view of the event, an early attendance is a must to secure a good spot. The good news is that there will be plenty of opportunities and space along the parade's route for those who want to be part of the festivities.
As for the route, Curbed New York has reported that it will be 2.5 miles long, starting from 77th Street as well as Central Park West and concluding at the Macy's Department Store at Midtown 34th Street. The path will take the floats along Central Park West to Central Park South at Columbus Circle. People may want to avoid these places on Nov. 23 to avoid hours of traffic.
