The upcoming "Mad Max" video game will allow gamers to create their own Magnum Opus, a war-ready vehicle that they can customize from scratch. PS4 owners, however, will be receiving a few special exclusive items that the other ports of the game will not have. 

According to a report from Cinema Blend, these items are only timed exclusives until Nov. 30 of this year. Following November, the special items may become available for the PC and Xbox One versions of the game via DLC packs. For the PS4, they will be bundled in for free. 

Gamers buying "Mad Max" on the Xbox One and PC shouldn't fret, because it appears that the exclusive content are aesthetic additions only, and not game-changing elements such as over-powered weapons or better gear. 

The 12 hood ornaments include: Aviator Helm, Bearclaw's Mask, Feral Boomerang, The Furry Toadie; Humongous Mask, Longlooker, and the Wez Pads and Hawk. These seven items will be included upon launch, while the other five exclusive items will be available as follow-up releases. 

The promotional trailer showcases the seven exclusive hood ornaments in action, and it appears that although they may not add any stats to the Magnum Opus, few items showcase Easter eggs to some of the "Mad Max" films such as the Feral Boomerang being the weapon of the Feral Kid in "Mad Max: The Road Warrior."

"Mad Max" features an open-world landscape which players can explore, playing as the titular Road Warrior known as Max Rockatansky and his vehicle the Magnum Opus. 

The game's villains include the War Boys led by the psychotic Scabrous Scrotus, son of the Immortal Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne) who was the main villain in the film "Mad Max: Fury Road." Although it is set in the same world as the film, it is not a direct game-to-movie adaptation of "Fury Road." 

"Mad Max" will be launched on all platforms on Sept. 1.
