'Mad Men' season 7 spoilers: Harry asks Don for blessings in episode 9

Jon Hamm in Mad MenAMC

"Mad Men" has returned for the second part of season 7, and the first episode has set a big buzz for the remaining episodes of the series.

The midseason premiere dabbled on the struggles of the core characters of the series to achieve that much-desired "work-life balance," which is also a big problem of present-day individuals.

It also showed Don Draper looking back to the time when he was still a starting ad copywriter for a furrier and he was conducting an audition for models who would don fur coats. When he asked them the question, "Look at yourself. Do you like what you see?" the series protagonist felt that the question was aimed directly at him. He remembered the period in his life when he still received a lot of messages while spending time with different women every night.

But the newly-single ad executive hit a very hard spot during that episode when his late ex-girlfriend Rachel (Maggie Siff) visited him in a dream. He later found out that she died because of leukemia. When he decided to pay his respects by visiting her sister's house, Don got a wake-up call when he looked at her young children.

"She lived the life she wanted to live. She had everything," Rachel's sister told him.

But in the next episode of the season, Don will receive some advice from Roger Sterling (John Slattery).

The official synopsis for the episode reads: "Roger gives Don some unwanted advice; Peggy Olson (Elizabeth Moss) and Stan Rizzo (Jay R. Ferguson) disagree over an account's personnel; Harry (Rich Sommer) asks for Don's blessing."

But what could Harry possibly want from Don? CarterMatt speculates that Harry might want Don's approval to let him date Don's ex-wife Megan (Jessica Pare).

The next episode of "Man Men" season 7 titled "New Business" will air on April 12.
