It seems the lovable poster boy of Pokemon, Pikachu, has finally been caught. A man dressed as Pikachu was seized by the Secret Service in the White House after he jumped on the fence of the administrative office.

36-year old Curtis Combs from Kentucky has been identified as the man behind the costume. Combs was also a YouTuber and wanted to film his daring breakthrough in the White House in order to gain fame. He was then arrested by District of Columbia police officers around 9:35 a.m. CT, Tuesday, Oct. 17. Combs has been taken into custody shortly after the stunt where he was charged with unlawful entry in accordance with the Washington D.C. Superior Court documents.

However, it seems that the Pikachu cosplayer still had some fight left in him as he pleaded not guilty, prompting the authorities to proceed with a court trial set on Nov. 9.

During the stunt, Combs, wearing his Pikachu costume, reportedly told the authorities that he just wanted to document the jump and post it to YouTube for views, but the police officers told him to cease, after which he apparently kept climbing. The police had to catch him as he was able to enter the restricted area of the White House behind the fence.

The affidavit stated that Combs had pre-meditated the shocking feat and had even told his friends the plan, but they refused to help him. Combs also stated that he knew his inevitable arrest but had carefully studied the Washington D.C. charges, as well as other previous offenders to create a contingency plan for when he gets caught.

One previous offense that Combs might have been referring to was another White House infiltration attempt, which also involved Pikachu. In 2014, a man carrying a stuffed Pikachu was also caught and arrested on the White House grounds after he also tried to get YouTube views with the stunt.

Combs was released within a day following his arrest but still has a pending court case. Despite this, he still told authorities that he wanted to come back to the White House for a tour with his son someday.
