Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart sees a brighter future for the club under chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak also speaking about England's campaign and their Euro 2016 qualifier as they take on Slovenia Sunday.

In a report by the Daily Mail, Hart is encouraged by Al Mubarak's statements that Man City can compete with other clubs for top tier players.

"I'm encouraged by that, but it's only what I expect. He's been a great chairman and a fantastic man. I've put all my trust in him, at a time when I'm coming into my peak as Premier League and European footballer," Hart stated in the report.

"That's why I want to be at Man City. I know their plans and ambitions. He's a great chairman. We've got a fantastic owner and that's why I committed my future to Man City. We've got a great future," the 28-year-old added.

Mubarak said in his previous statements that players want to play for Manchester City for more than money, BBC Sports reported.

"We're a club players want to come and play for," Mubarak said. "We can compete head-to-head with all the top clubs."

"Players look at the track record of Manchester City over the last couple of years, look at the academy, the facilities, infrastructure, the people in terms of management and coaches - we have a very attractive proposition for players," Mubarak added.

Meanwhile, Hart also discussed England and the progress they had with their campaign.

"We've made as much progress as possible in a qualification campaign," Hart said according to the Daily Mail.

"We're building a team, we're building an ethos and we're continuing to do that. We've moving to France as quickly as possible," he also stated.

Hart added that everyone is prepared once they are called to play for England and are training to be ready despite having different schedules.
