Manchester City will be looking at other transfer targets following the rejection of their second bid worth £35 million with £5 million in add-ons for Liverpool midfielder Raheem Sterling which was their final offer for him.

The 20-year-old has been strongly linked to a transfer to Man City but Liverpool already rejected two bids from the club as they want at least £50 million for the English national.

According to ESPN FC, sources say that Manchester City will no longer try to come up with a bigger bid for Sterling.

Now City looks to move ahead and divert their attention to other targets also in their goal to add English players in their roster to comply with Premier League's homegrown rules.

The targets for Manchester City include Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph, Fulham winger Patrick Roberts, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

Delph signed a new four-and-a-half year deal with Villa but their recent showing in the Premier League almost experiencing relegation may prompt him to leave the club according to ESPN.

Meanwhile an agreement was already reached for Manchester City to sign Patrick, ESPN also reported.

The deal is worth £5 million and could reach up to £10 million because of the add-ons according to the report.

The 18-year-old also drew interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool among other clubs.

Fullham wanted to keep Roberts ESPN reported but the club just could not match Manchester City's offer.

Another target for Manchester City is Juventus' Pogba who is one of the most coveted players this summer.

The 22-year-old French midfielder has been linked to a number of big clubs but Juventus managing director Giuseppe Marott said Pogba already assured the club that he would not be leaving.

Gunners midfielder Wilshere is also a target for Manchester City but he said that he aims to be with the club that wants him not because he is English.
