Manchester City will play Aston Villa on Saturday in the late afternoon kick off in the English Premier League.

City have fallen out of contention for the league title now following a series of poor results, and their main focus now may well be simply holding on to a top four spot to ensure they make Champions League football next season.

City meanwhile are seven points ahead of Liverpool and Spurs, and the Reds have a game in hand over the Manchester team coming into Saturday's matches. That means any further slip ups could see City dropping into a battle for fourth place.

City have a very good record against Villa in recent times, winning seven consecutive Premier League games at home against them. In the space of that time City have scored 23 goals and conceded just two.
