The Sky Blues will have momentum heading to the Champions League showdown with Sevilla since they are riding a three-match winning streak, with their last victory a 5–1 drubbing of Bournemouth in the English Premier League (EPL).

Man City began its Champions League campaign with a 2–1 defeat to Juventus before capturing its first win over Borussia Mönchengladbach 2–1.

But the club will have to face Sevilla without one of their best players in striker Sergio Agüero who, according to reports, suffered a hamstring injury playing in a World Cup qualifier.

The last time Agüero suited up for Man City was earlier this month where he scored five goals in a 6–1 victory over Newcastle in the EPL.

Even though the Citizens will not have 27-year-old Agüero, young striker Raheem Sterling can step up as he has been playing very well for the club lately.

Man City is third in Group D in the Champions League tied with today's opponent Sevilla as both have three points.

Meanwhile, Sevilla is coming off a 1–1 draw with Eibar in their last La Liga match and is looking for its second win in the Champions League.

Unlike Manchester City, the Spanish side won their first Champions League match defeating Gladbach 3-0 but was also defeated by Juventus 2-0 in their second match.

Both Man City and Sevilla are looking for the win today not just to break the tie between them but to also improve their chances of making it past the Champions League group stage.

The match between Manchester City and Sevilla FC will take place today, Oct. 21, at 2:45 p.m. EST. To watch via live stream, click here
