Manchester City will aim to remain the only club with 100% record in the 2015–16 season of the Premier League as they take on Watford at Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England this Saturday.

The Citizens are having a great start after ending their previous Premier League campaign with a runner-up finish.

Man City defeated West Bromwich Albiom 3–0 in their first Premier League game and followed it with wins over Chelsea (3–0) and Everton (2–0).

But Manchester City will have to try and win their fourth consecutive Premier League match with a depleted roster.

Striker Wilfried Bony will be out for Man City after sustaining a gash on his leg during training but will only miss one game, according to club manager Manuel Pellegrini.

"Bony had yesterday a gash in his leg of around six or seven centimetres, so he is not able to play tomorrow [Saturday]," he said at a news conference. After the international break, he will be ready for the next game so it must be seven or 10 days," Pellegrini said regarding Bony's injury, according to ESPN.

Another player out for Manchester City is defender Gaël Clichy who is yet to make an appearance this season because of an ankle injury that will sideline him for six to seven weeks, according to Pellegrini.

Along with Bony and Clichy, midfielders Pablo Zabaleta and Fernando are also ruled out against Watford, according to BBC Sport. Despite the injuries, Manchester City is still favored to come out on top Saturday.

Meanwhile, Watford would like to end a streak which feature them recording draws in their first three Premier League matches this season against Everton (2–2), West Brom (0-0), and Southampton (0–0).

One factor that might be affecting the club's performance is the instability of their players, which is not a good thing for club manager Quique Sánchez Flores.

"There are lot of players in our squad who don't know if they are going to stay or going to move out. For me it's not comfortable," Flores said, according to BBC Sport.

The 50-year-old added that he hopes everything gets resolved, also saying "I'm not happy — it's not a good moment for me."
