Manchester Girl Band BlushUK Launches 'Ear Candy'

|PIC1|Manchester-based Christian girl band, blushuk, recently announced the launch of their new album Ear Candy.

The album showcases new songs reflecting the issues that they have experienced in conversations and encounters with those at their concerts and in schools.

Produced by George Mhondera, the project is 'full of energy, great vocals and hooks that stick in your head,' according to Survivor Record's OTR.

The songs are said to have a diversity of sounds similar to Gwen Stefani, Girls Aloud, Sugababes and The Pussy Cat Dolls.

"Ready To Run", track 5 on the album features OTR's Reggae artist Watchman and track 4 "Not Alone" is a song idea that came out of a recent trip the girls made to Haiti, while working with Compassion International.

Between May and June, the girls will be touring the UK with LZ7 and thebandwithnoname as well as performing throughout the summer festivals this year.

With a vision to see thousands of people reached with the good news of Jesus Christ through their words and their music, the band is part of youth ministry The Message Trust in Manchester, committed to ministering in secondary schools as well as performing at events across the UK and Europe.
