Manchester United will play Arsenal on Sunday in a big game in the English Premier League with the teams fighting it out for third place in the table. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. BST (11 a.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream via the link provided below.

Today's game takes place from Old Trafford, and United will be hoping that home advantage can help them claim all three points, which would see them leapfrog Arsenal into third place.

Coming into the game Arsenal are in third place with 70 points from their 35 games so far. United meanwhile are in fourth with 68 points from 36 games. That means even if United claim the win today, Arsenal still have their destiny in their own hands as they have a game in hand over their north west rivals.

On Wednesday Arsenal play Sunderland at home, before rounding out their season with another home game against West Brom next Sunday. Manchester United meanwhile will only have the one game left after today's game, an away game against Hull City.

That means if the Gunners can win both of their next two games, they can afford to lose today against United and still claim third spot.

Ahead of today's game, United manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed that Wayne Rooney and Luke Shaw both will not play today. Michael Carrick will also not feature, where as Jonny Evans is a doubt ahead of the game.

However, in better news for Manchester United, Angel Di Maria, Robin van Persie, and Marcos Rojo will all be available again and will all likely feature in this big game between two of the best sides in English football.

For the Gunners, Danny Welbeck will not be playing, as he has been sidelined with an injury to his knee.

Although finishing third or fourth may not seem like much, in recent seasons it has become much more significant. All four top positions will qualify for the Champions League next season, but fourth place will have to take part in a two legged playoff against a team from another country that finished third or fourth.

It used to be that the Premier League's fourth spot would be always drawn against the champions of a lesser established league in Europe - almost always guaranteeing that the Premier League team would progress.

However, UEFA has changed things so that the fourth placed English team could now also be drawn against a third or fourth placed team from another major league.

So if United finish in fourth they could face a playoff against a team as established as Valencia in Spain's La Liga.
