Being a good boxer can score one some good bucks. But being as great as the eight-division boxing champion Manny Pacquiao should rake in truckloads, which makes him one of the richest athletes today. To give an idea how much, the fighting prowess of the Filipino boxer is netting him $110 million.

Pacquiao's hard work, skill, passion and tireless jabs and blows helped him earn quite a lot. The boxing deity reportedly used $12.5 million of the aforementioned millions to purchase a beautiful mansion in Beverly Hills once owned by rapper Puff Daddy. In 1998, the artist, who was then in a relationship with Jennifer Lopez, had possession of the 10,000-square-foot property until he sold it in 2001.

According to Elsa Nelson from Nelson Shelton & Associates Real Estate, as reported by Yahoo! News, Pacquiao is the fourth buyer and owner of the mansion. The boxer has been eyeing the property to be his family's home in the United States during his preparation for the much-awaited superfight against undisputed champ Floyd Mayweather.

It also seems very fitting to house the Pacquiao family in the Mediterranean-style home as it provides the much-needed privacy and security for them. The very reason he let go of his mansion in Los Angeles was reportedly due to more than a few incidents of robbery. The exclusivity and the overall protection in the new community are commendable, too.

Furthermore, website Pop Sugar says that Pacquiao loves his fully-furnished home for what's in it, too. There is a $200,000-worth home theater ready and a perfect kitchen for the boxer and his team who loves to eat. Its resort-type backyard can easily house the biggest parties while his master suite complete with steam shower, spa bathtub and two roomy "his" and "her" closets really does the fix. His five kids should each get a bedroom, too, as the mansion has seven.

What Pacquiao is left to worry about is the "fistorical" megabout that sent the whole world at the edge of its seat. The fighter has always expressed his desire to take on the man who calls himself Money. In fact, he was always ready to stain the spotless record of his rival. Whether or not he manages to pull that off will all be revealed come May 2.
