Filipino boxing champ Manny Pacquiao says that he sees undefeated boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. a 'good guy'.

Paquiao shared this with media during dinner at his residence in General Santos City where he accepted a diamond-encrusted WBO super champion belt, as reported by Philboxing.com.

It is no secret that prior to their accidental face-to-face meeting that both fighters did not like each other. But now after meeting in person, Pacquiao has seen the real Mayweather and has thus concluded that Mayweather isn't the person that many had initially perceived.

Pacquiao and Mayweather were for some reason brought together by fate. This was during an NBA game in South Beach where Miami played the Brooklyn Nets. Mayweather was in attendance since he was a regular fixture in select NBA games while Pacquiao was in the area after serving as a judge during the last Ms. Universe pageant.

The meeting turned out well, threshing out issues which initially were really something made by both camps in efforts to make the dream bout happen.

From that meeting, the progress for the fight has gained headway and included private meetings between the two in connection with the fight.

The Filipino fighter has agreed to practically all the terms laid down by Mayweather and all that remains is for the undefeated American boxer to sign on the dotted line.

Mayweather is currently traveling and has consistently said that nothing has been made official.

For his part, Pacquiao believes that the fight has a good chance of happening. And he has based everything on Mayweather's personality and professionalism which hopefully will pan out and result in what the fans are waiting for, the richest clash in boxing history.
