Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao has chosen Australian Olympian Jeff Horn for his next fight, and many believe the former is at the tail end of his career because of his choice of opponent.

This July, Pacquiao will be up against 2012's Australian Summer Olympian Jeff Horn, and according to the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion's coach, he is the perfect tune-up contender.

"[Horn is] a good fight to see where he's at and who's gonna be next. The thing is, it's kind of a tune-up fight for us and who he has next," Freddie Roach shared with BoxingScene.com.

"That's what we're looking for right now, a tune-up fight and then on to bigger and better things," added Roach.

Roach then admitted that after Pacman's tune-up fight with Horn, he will be challenging three division world champion and holder of the World Boxing Council's (WBC) lightweight title, Mikey Garcia.

The future fight was initiated by Mikey's brother and trainer, Robert, who Roach said approached him and asked if Pacquiao would fight his brother.

Meanwhile, sportswriters believe Pacman is already at the tail end of his career because of his choice to fight Horn.

Against Pacman, Horn is viewed very much as an underdog in this upcoming fight. The Australian Olympian's best win to record was with the former world champion Randall Bailey and Ali Funeka.

Yahoo! sportswriter Kevin Iole shared his opinions about Pacquiao's upcoming fight with Horn.

"Horrible fight which I, for Manny, what are you thinking of? That is a joke that you are fighting this guy. The guy is terrible and why are you fighting Jeff Horn (he's) just a joke," ABS-CBN reports.

Iole even said that Pacquiao chose Horn because he does not want to face a tough contender at the moment, and that he even bypassed welterweight title holder Keith Thurman to consider as an opponent.

Manny Pacquiao will fight Jeff Horn on July 2 at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.
