Worldwide, many people are scared of a Donald Trump presidency.

CNN made the revelation after the media giant asked people from various countries what they think of the controversial Republican presidential candidate who is moving closer and closer to his quest of taking the White House.

CNN talked to dozens of everyday people in such places as London, Berlin, Moscow, Cairo, Jerusalem, Jakarta and Hong Kong. Many expressed disapproval of Trump. The real estate mogul only had supporters in two of the seven cities visited by the CNN news crew. These are in Moscow and Jerusalem.

"I'm actually very, very worried," a Hong Kong woman told CNN.

Some fear that Trump could damage relations between the United States and other countries with his controversial policies. Others are concerned that he will encourage cultural if not racial intolerance.

America's "melting pot" image "is going to change a lot," a young Cairo student told CNN.

Some people are more pessimistic. In Berlin, a woman said "Americans could go back in time with this president."

A few even believed that Trump could trigger World War III. "That's it, that's the end of America," a Jakarta woman said.

Some people used words unfit for publication in showing their disapproval of Trump.

The brash New York billionaire, however, has some supporters in Russia and Israel.

"He's not quiet, and this is what we need. Someone who will do something," an Israeli man told CNN. "I welcome the idea" another Jerusalem citizen said.

Trump also has supporters in Russia. "Donald Trump is more pragmatic because he's a businessman," a Moscow resident said, adding that he thinks U.S.-Russia relations would get better if Trump was president. "Trump might change the attitude of Americans towards Russia," another Russian said.

CNN asked people to finish the sentence "Donald Trump is ..."

Most people answered "businessman, "rich man" and "entertainer."

One of those approached by the television news crew offered an extensive statement. "Donald Trump is a great businessman, a great speaker—a motivational speaker—and a great reality TV star, but by no means a great politician," said Jeremy Starr Lam in Hong Kong.

Some people just don't know what to think of Trump. Some simply shrugged or winced when asked their opinion on the Republican presidential front-runner. A London woman pondered on the question for a while and then said: "I'm at a loss for words."
