The popular rock band, Maroon 5, has lost a dear compatriot, Jordan Feldstein, who was their manager for a very long time. Feldstein, who is also the brother of actor Jonah Hill, suffered from a fatal heart attack just three days before Christmas at the age of 40. Feldstein had played an integral role in the constant success of Maroon 5 as well as of other talents in the entertainment industry.

As reported by Variety, the coroner at the Los Angeles County confirmed Feldstein's death on the night of Saturday, Dec. 22. Feldstein was the founder of Career Artist Management, which is a management company that represents celebrities in Hollywood with an office in Beverly Hills. The company's talents include prominent names including Robin Thicke, Miguel, Elle King, and, of course, Maroon 5.

It is known that Maroon 5 front man and "The Voice" singing coach Adam Levine had a close relationship with Feldstein ever since they were children. Feldstein was there ever since Levine got his big break being the vocalist of Maroon 5, and has played a very important role in the band's longevity that has spanned almost two decades.

In fact, the band was able to garner three coveted Grammy Awards during their long music career, and have sold upward of 20 million albums across the globe.

Billboard has reported Feldstein's family statement, which detailed what had happened on the night of his heart attack. A 911 distress call was made after Feldstein experienced "shortness of breath." Shortly after the paramedics arrived, it was determined that Feldstein was indeed suffering from a heart attack, and he was not able to make it to the hospital in time. Feldstein's family has requested for their privacy in order to properly deal with their loss.
