The third season of FYI's televised month-long social experiment "Married at First Sight" is already halfway through. But the couples are still working out their issues to make their instant marriage work.

Among the three sets of couple in "Married at First Sight" season 3, Tres Russell and Vanessa Nelson's union can be considered as the most promising this season.

The 27-year-old luxury car salesman and the 26-year-old corporate events manager showed an immediate chemistry when they met each other at the altar, and they are the only couple who have consummated their marriage this season.

Tres and Vanessa never had a major problem during their first two weeks of marriage, but Vanessa began to doubt her husband's commitment to their marriage when she learned about his playboy past. However, Tres continues to try proving to Vanessa that he already changed even if she is not yet prepared to trust any man after her father abandoned their family when she was little.

Meanwhile, 31-year-old laboratory compliance specialist Neil Bowlus and 30-year-old bank manager Samantha Role seem to be doing great with each other. But Sam has issues with Neil's difficulty to express himself in front of the camera. This could be a problem for their marriage, because Sam believes that her husband is not being himself on the show.

Perhaps the most troubled union in "Married at First Sight" season 3 is between the 30-year-old nursing student Ashley Doherty and 29-year-old software account executive David Norton. The two find it difficult to get along with each other.

However, recent developments showed that some people were not happy with the way Ashley treats her husband in the series, and they were sending her death threats.

The rumors were reported by the Ashley's Reality Roundup website, which revealed that her mom is currently appealing to the angry fans to stop threatening her daughter because of her "mean" treatment of David.

FYI has yet to verify the said rumor.

"Married at First Sight" season 3 will air its seventh episode on Tuesday, Jan. 12. It will center on the intimacy issues with the help of series sexologist Dr. Logan Levkoff.
