'Married at First Sight' spoilers: What will the newlyweds decide?

"Married at First Sight" Season 1 Episode 9 is titled "Last Chance for Romance" and the episode is about the couples trying to make a connection before they decide to stay married or get divorced. Here's what happened in the episode.

Jason and Courtney

Jason chose to go burlesque, even if he didn't want it. However, Jason knows the importance of this week, that it will make or break their marriage, so he decides to go ahead with it.

Jason and Courtney have a romantic dinner to bond more. The date was going well, but while the two were conversing, Jason said that he is still confused and he doesn't want to get hurt. Jason did reveal that he had been hurt several times by his exes.

Doug and Jamie

Doug and Jamie were busy doing their homework. Both of them apologized to each other and it worked out well. The two went to the park and talked about their future. Jamie said she was still hesitant but Doug feels more positive about their future.

Vaughn and Monet

Vaughn and Monet also exchanged apologies for hurting each other. Given that the two were opinionated, their homework really did bring out the best in them and they allowed themselves to fix what they have and have hope for the future. Later, Vaughn and Monet go on a date, their first date, and it was obvious that there's something special there.

Meeting with Greg

All of the couples spoke with Greg Epstein, a spiritual advisor. The Copelands told Greg that they are very compatible, but it is important for them to improve their communication. The Hehners met with Greg and he wasn't optimistic with their relationship. The Carrions impressed Greg during their meeting. Greg feels optimistic about the two and told them that even if they didn't stay together, they "will walk away with lessons learned," says Gossip and Gab.

At the end of the episode, the couples reflected on their relationships and how they feel about pursuing the marriage or not. Next episode, we might just know what their decisions are.
