Marvel's latest mobile game, titled "Marvel Strike Force," has recently been announced and will debut in 2018. No official date was given, but a new trailer was released.

Fans of the "Avengers" would love to have this game as it is more of squad-based role-playing game (RPG). Players will have to choose five heroes from among a long list of icons. The roster currently includes Captain America, Hulk, Loki, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Spider-Man, Venom, Doctor Strange, Daredevil, Elektra, Luke Cage, Star-Lord, Groot, and Gamora, as per Screen Rant.

People would have noticed that the list contains none of the characters from either "Fantastic 4" or the "X-Men." However, they recently just added more "X-Men" characters to their other mobile game "Marvel: Future Fight." This could easily mean that they will be adding them as well to this new game.

"We talk about the game in terms of fantasy sports," said FoxNext Games president, Aaron Loeb, as per Variety. "We're enabling the player to have their fantasy draft of characters from the Marvel Universe."

Loeb also mentions how the game will have a lot of interaction between characters. Just like in the trailer, Iron Man and Captain America were able to team up as Iron Man shot his energy blast at Captain America's shield to be deflected to the enemies.

The trailer has shown a lot of player-versus-enemy (PVE) content, but the game promises that it will also include player-versus-player (PVP). Quite simply, the PVP will be a 5v5 match with each player having their own five-man team. As the trailer shows, this is not like the famous "Injustice" mobile games where the movement is two-directional. That said, it would be exciting to see how this new Marvel game will be for the PVP.
