'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 3 spoilers: Coulson kidnaps Rosalind in episode 8

Coulson and Rosalind spend the night together in the upcoming episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."ABC/Marvel

Coulson (Clark Gregg) will hold Rosalind (Constance Zimmer) hostage in the upcoming episode of the hit ABC series "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

In "Many Heads, One Tale," the official promo released for episode 8 shows the heads of Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division (S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Advanced Threat Containment Unit (ATCU) in a face-off inside one of the containment rooms. Coulson is asking Rosalind what she and her team are hiding and whom they are working for. It appears that he has found out ATCU's connection with the Hydra, as Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and some of her members start to uncover the truth about the group. They have learned that ATCU is not creating cures for the Inhumans, but something else entirely. Can Coulson make Rosalind admit that she is working with the Hydra?

Last episode, she and Gideon (Powers Boothe) talked over the phone regarding the meeting she missed because of Lash (Matthew Willig) revelation. Both S.H.I.E.L.D. and ATCU have realized that Andrew (Blair Underwood) was the monster when they discover that all the Inhumans killed were listed in Jiaying's (Dichen Lachman) ledger. As only Andrew has access to the file, it was entirely possible that he was the killer. When Lash showed up at the headquarters, he told Coulson that he was only doing what he was told to do, sort good Inhumans from the bad.

Things escalated quickly, with Lash killing several of ATCU members and throwing Rosalind down several floors. Luckily, Daisy was able to save her. May (Ming-Na Wen) reasoned with her ex-husband, saying she still loved him and that they would be together again. When Lash returned to his human form, May shot him and he fell in one of the containment pods. She then let the ATCU put him in stasis gel, so he would sleep until they find a cure.

Also in episode 8, Comicbook reports that Ward (Brett Dalton) has decided on a new approach to take down S.H.I.E.L.D. He is now planning to focus on Coulson, because he believes that the group is nothing without its leader. Last episode, Gideon felt that Ward's tactics were not working, as he asked the new Hydra leader to think of another plan. The website reveals Coulson and his team will be facing a new enemy. Is this the Hydra head's response to Gideon's request?

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
