"I think we'd love to see something happen, but it's way too soon to tell, and we don't necessarily like to discuss which metrics we use to decide these things," the entertainment studio executive revealed.

Quesada also mentioned that those who are familiar with the character of the Punisher will be happy to see how Bernthal gave life to the character by sticking mostly to the his comic book version. "It's one of those cases where it's the character from the pages come to life," the network executive also shared.

Aside from the Punisher, "Marvel's Daredevil" season 2 will also introduce Elektra, Daredevil's possible love interest this season. The role will be portrayed by French TV and film actress Élodie Yung.
