'Marvel's Inhumans' season 1 episode 8 spoilers: Black Bolt faces off with Maximus
In the season finale of "Marvel's Inhumans," Black Bolt (Anson Mount) finally comes face-to-face with his treacherous brother Maximus (Iwan Rheon).
The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "...And Finally: Black Bolt" was just released recently and showed Black Bolt walking down the stairs to meet with the usurper. "I did not steal the people from you. You abandoned them," Maximus accuses his brother. Black Bolt appears resolved and is determined to put a stop to his brother and his shenanigans. However, he defiantly declares, "We will never surrender!" Apparently Maximus lets the dome of Attilan collapse on the city and widespread panic ensues. There is destruction all around as the walls start crumbling down and the people run for safety. Black Bolt, Medusa (Serinda Swan), Karnak (Ken Leung), and the rest of the Royal Family witness the surrounding chaos and have to decide on how to save the people.
After a deliberation, Medusa declares to everyone, "It is time for us to return to Earth, our home." It appears that the Royal Family is going to abandon their crumbling home on the moon and transport everyone to planet Earth including their untrustworthy brother Maximus. "We are running out of time, all of us," she tells him. It remains to be seen how all the people of Attilan will be transported to Earth and if Maximus will take advantage of the situation.
In the last episode, Karnak placed Gorgon (Eme Ikwuakor) in the terrigenesis chamber in an attempt to revive the dead inhuman. However, after the chamber activated and the smoke subsided, Gorgon was still dead to the dismay of Karnak who decided to leave him there in the terrigenesis compartment.
"Marvel's Inhumans" season 1 episode 8 will hit the airwaves on Friday, Nov. 10 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
