Gamers of all next generation platforms will have something to look forward to in 2016 thanks to the latest news presented by Michael Pachter and his team of analysts. According to the individual, who represents the research company Wedbush, both gaming titles are going to be unveiled by the end of March 2016, which means that both games will released during the month of April.

The team has reported that since multinational game publishing company EA continues to focus on all platforms, particularly next generation consoles, it will allow the company's position to thrive in the coming years.

According to Videogamer, Pachter stated:

"FY:16 is expected to feature incremental releases Mass Effect 4, Mirror's Edge 2, a new Need For Speed game, and Star Wars: Battlefront, as well as meaningful re-orders for Battlefield Hardline, which launched in late Q4:15."

EA's FY for 2016 runs from April 2015 and ends on March 2016. In addition to the aforementioned titles, the company is also gearing up to release two titles for 2015, and both of them have had previous installments. They are "Need for Speed" and "Star Wars Battlefront," and are expected to be launched during the Holiday Season of 2015.

With "Mirror's Edge 2" and "Mass Effect 4"s release dates yet to be announced, the former was showcased by EA during E3 2013 for the Xbox One, PS4 and Microsoft Windows. The plot of the game once again revolves around the title's protagonist Faith, only this time, it will be focused on the origin storyline rather than proceeding with the aftermath of the events that transpired after the first game.

As for "Mass Effect 4," it is expected that players are going to be controlling a new protagonist and will be immersed in a different story altogether.
