'Mass Effect: Andromeda' release date news, plot updates: Producer details game's central theme

The latest installment of BioWare's hit space exploration game franchise — titled "Mass Effect: Andromeda" — is set to be released soon, and hype is being built around the game ever since BioWare Montreal producer Michael Gamble teased fans with what they can expect from the upcoming futuristic title.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" takes place approximately 6 centuries after the original "Mass Effect" trilogy. In this installation, players will get to control Ryder in an attempt to search the Andromeda galaxy for a new planet that humans can colonize.

Furthermore, according to Gamble, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will focus on space exploration that will offer its gamers an Elon-Musk like perspective that would make them as questions like "I wonder if we can get here? I wonder if we can do that?"

Another thing fans should expect from "Mass Effect: Andromeda" are more types of races to join the Andromeda expedition along with new species of alien monsters and planets as they look for a new habitat for humanity. 

On another note, BioWare's Mac Walters has recently revealed the team's efforts in creating "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" high-level design, emphasizing that the expansion of levels enabled them to make more interesting creations. He also teased gamers that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will allow them to completely customize their characters. What's more is that gamers will also be able to take part in two new loyalty missions.

Based on recent reports, production for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" seems to be going well. Because of this, the game is expected to provide fans with an immersive gaming experience that will take them to new galactic depths.

As of now, there is still no specific release date for "Mass Effect: Andromeda," but the game is expected to be released sometime in spring 2017 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

However, some speculations are suggesting that the game will be delayed to fiscal year 2018. There's no way of knowing for sure until BioWare confirms any of these recent reports.
