Logan Guleff will pay a visit to the "MasterChef Junior" kitchen in the hit reality series' sophomore episode.

In "A Sweet Surprise," TV Guide reports that the season 2 winner will return to coach the remaining contestants on how to win the cooking competition. Meanwhile, the best three kiddie cooks who topped the previous elimination challenge will be tested on their ability to frost a cupcake. For the next task, the challengers will prepare a dish with scallops as the key ingredients. Those who will not impress the judges will have to go home.

During the season premiere, 24 contestants aged eight to 13 set foot in the "MasterChef" kitchen. For their first mystery box challenge, the judges told them to prepare their best burger with sides. The one with the best dish had the huge advantage of choosing which main ingredient to use in the elimination round.

Avery, nine, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana prepared a Southern Style Pork and Venison burger with coleslaw. The judges said it looked delicious, but when they tried it, the bun was deemed too soggy. They also think she could have used more pork for her patty. The second dish that caught their eye was prepared by Zac, 12 of Orlando, Florida. He created a Chuck and Sirloin Cheeseburger with onion rings. His burger looked appetizing, but it lacked seasoning and also a bit on the raw side.

The clear winner of the challenge was eight-year-old Kya of Phoenix. One of the youngest contestants of the batch, she prepared an excellent Wagyu burger with apple fries. The judges were impressed with her dish, which she said was frequently prepared by her father for her. Kya was exempted from the elimination challenge and she also had the chance to save another cook. She chose Vivian, 11, of Avondale, Arizona.

The next task involved cooking with marshmallow. Many of the contestants faltered in this round, with one managing to burn his ingredient beyond recognition. Kade, nine, of Morgan City, Louisiana went to pieces in the challenge and he was an automatic shoo in for elimination. Alexander, 10, of Phoenix likewise needed more practice and he was sent home together with Kade.

"MasterChef Junior" season 4 airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
