"MasterChef's" newest episode will feature the home cooks replicating Gordon Ramsay's famed dishes, Cartermatt reveals.

The most famous kitchen in the U.S. will resemble the infamous "Hell's Kitchen" by the British celebrity chef as contestants will recreate dishes even professionals have difficulty doing, the website reports.

The format of making a renowned dish by a similarly distinguished chef was seen on almost every season of the show, and this week's episode will be no different.

Gordon's notoriously challenging recipe, beef wellington, will be one of the cuisines the budding chefs will be tasked to do. By the end of the episode, one home cook will be going home. Cartermatt contends that Stephen Lee and Hetal Vasavada will still continue to be frontrunners of the competition while Shelly Flash, who was almost eliminated last episode, remains a strong contender.

Last week's show was tagged the 100th episode of the reality series. It opened with all 14 contestants trotting out to a vineyard overlookng a cliff somewhere in Southern California. They had to cook 50 dishes for culinary dignitaries. The captains, Nick Nappi and Olivia Crouppen, quickly ticked off their choices for their teams. Nick's group was off with a strong start while Olivia's seemed confused.

The smoking of the oysters was a complete disaster for the Red Team, and they served a smoked oyster and caviar salad, rounded out by a heap of fennel and grapefruit. Meanwhile, the Blue Team plated beautiful butter poached eggs with a cucumber and apple pickle and a caviar vinaigrette. The guests pronounced the appetizer of Nick's crew "scrumptious," while Olivia's just lacking.

The whole game took a turn for the Blue Team during the making of the entrĂ©e. They ended up with a Moroccan spiced duck with roasted fennel and forbidden rice. The Red Team, however, plated a fantastic looking duck braised in ginger butter, over a cauliflower puree with roasted carrots.

Nick's team lost the challenge and headed into a pressure test, with two home cooks to be eliminated. They also had to choose which member would be spared from the challenge. Upon much bickering, they decided to pick Stephen. Christina announced their test and it was a birthday cake. The contestants were free to do whatever they want as long as the cake was three layers and had a nice frosting.

Amanda Saab had a great start with her strawberry and Nutella filling but come assembly time, her cakes were collapsing. Charlie Chapman's looked like "a mound of sugar," according to Entertainment Weekly. The judges pronounced Amanda's and Shelly's output "undercooked," while Charlie's cake, though ugly-looking, tasted delicious.

Charlie was sent packing while the judges debated on the fate of the two ladies. Ultimately, it was Amanda who got axed.

"MasterChef" episode 9 will air at 8 p.m. Wednesday at on Fox.
