Mikey Garcia, a Mexican-American boxer who holds an impressive 34-0, 28 by knockout (KO), is currently unable to fight since the 27-year-old boxer is still in a legal dispute with Top Rank.

It has been more than a year since Garcia fought. His last match was against Juan Carlos Burgos in which he won via unanimous decision. The legal woes set in three months after when Garcia filed a lawsuit against Top Rank, claiming that his promotional agreement was illegal and that his ties with Top Rank expired after the Burgos clash.

Top Rank, of course, denies the allegations, saying that they have paid Garcia well, with purses hitting the six-figure mark. To this day, nothing has been settled, leaving the promising boxer sitting in the sidelines while also keeping himself in shape.

The best Garcia can do right now is do some analysis and join the many critics concerned about the world of boxing.

With so many things happening in the boxing world, the topic of whom Mayweather would face next is one which Garcia has shared his thoughts on.

While everyone knows that Mayweather is set to fight again this coming September, Garcia believes that Mayweather will select the fighter with an impressive showing.  The young boxer believes Berto could be the one although Amir Khan cannot be discounted.

Interestingly, Garcia believes that Mayweather will be looking for a fight that will sell and rack in revenue. In fact, he speculates that Mayweather may not fight at all.

Mayweather did book a Sept. 12 fight but he believes that it doesn't necessarily mean he will be in it. He believes that Mayweather will wait for next year and most likely face off against Pacquiao. Check out the video of that interview below.

But in another video, Garcia shares that if Mayweather does fight on Sept. 12, whoever he faces may not matter at all. He believes that Mayweather proved to everyone last May 2 his ability to adjust against any boxer and was one of the reasons why Mayweather outboxed the Filipino fighter. Watch the video of that interview.

Even though his inputs may not be taken seriously by critics, he does single out valid points. They could or could not happen but these days, anything is possible.

On his end, he is hoping that his legal woes come to an end. Garcia is a promising boxer but his absence from the ring could hurt his career eventually and hinder him from competing in bigger fights.

Being a former World Boxing Organization (WBO) Featherweight and WBO Super Featherweight champion, Garcia could be up there. But the thing is, his legal battles must come to an end.
