It's amazing how far actors would go to entertain the adoring viewers, sometimes at the cost of their own lives. This must be exactly what Dylan O'Brien had in mind when he was filming a scene for "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" that got him into a major accident. Fortunately, it looks like all is well now.

Reports from Entertainment Tonight say that O'Brien has been spotted on set working on his other movie, American Assassin. The 25-year-old actor looked happy getting back to work after suffering severe injuries in a stunt gone wrong, with which he needed months to recuperate from.

The said incident happened last March 17 in Cache Creek, and iNFO news was fortunate enough to get a copy of the WorkSafe B.C. report. It reads, "An action sequence was being filmed for a motion picture. This young worker was attached to a vehicle by a harness, lanyard and overhead truss system when he climbed onto the back (of) another vehicle. As the vehicles slowed, the trailing vehicle the worker was anchored to slowed more rapidly than the vehicle the worker climbed onto."

Such accidents happen in filmmaking even in the most unsuspecting of times. Gold Coast Bulletin compiled some of the worst case scenarios that occurred as a result of stunt hazards. From action-packed films such as "Expendables" to the effects-filled "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," anything could happen, which is precisely why safety should be of utmost priority.

Sources tell Deadline that the production will resume by February next year. This is to give the actor more time to recuperate from the injury. This also means that the original plan to launch the movie on February 17, 2017 has been moved to January 12, 2018 instead.

"Maze Runner: The Death Cure" will be the third and final installment of the Maze Runner series.
