Memphis Grizzlies NBA 2015 free agency news, rumors: Will Marc Gasol be leaving Memphis?

Would any NBA team that has the ample salary cap dare waste their time luring Marc Gasol out of Memphis?

Gasol is expected to be one of the most sought after free agents in the offseason but it seems practically imminent he will be staying put in Memphis.

The San Antonio Spurs, the Los Angeles Lakers and probably the New York Knicks could gamble in trying to lure Gasol but as it stands, it could all be a waste of time.

Money doesn't seem to be an issue and if there were anything that could woo him away could be an added perk of copping an NBA title. However, such a task could be attainable in Memphis with valuable additions so the lesser of two evils seem to point to Gasol sticking it out with the Grizzlies.

Memphis did get booted out of the NBA playoffs but one could see that the Grizzlies did put up a gallant stand. Going up against one of the hottest teams in the NBA today is no easy task but the Grizzlies did have their chances.

Heartbreaking as it may, the Grizzlies have been constantly up there and perhaps new talent could help the cause of Gasol and the rest.

The Spurs are looking to find a successor to Tim Duncan and Gasol could be a good catch. But if you have been following the news lately, it looks like the Spurs are more inclined to go after LaMarcus Aldridge who said that he would explore free agency seriously.

The Lakers are another team that could may a go for Gasol but seeing the treatment his brother (Pau) experienced and that the Lakers aren't exactly one of the competitive teams right now, such could be more than enough reason for Marc to shun any offers from Hollywood.

The Knicks are practically in the same rebuilding stage of the Lakers so why go there? They do have Phil Jackson and of course Carmelo Anthony but as a whole, it still doesn't add up to convince the Spaniard to move there.

Futile or not, there will be pitches thrown at Marc. But at this point, nothing seems to be tempting enough to get him packing out of Memphis.
