The Indiana Pacers and the Memphis Grizzlies dropped their opening games and both will surely look to bounce back at each other's expense when they meet today, Thursday.

The Pacers unveiled their new up-tempo style of play and small ball lineup against the Toronto Raptors but unfortunately did not end up giving positive results. In fact, there was a stretch where the Raptors outscored the Pacers.

Returning Pacers forward Paul George struggled after being absent for most of last season, but it seems that he still needs more time to settle in. In all, the guard (as expected) shone in the new system, which hopefully will enable the Pacers come up with a better finish this season.

The Memphis Grizzlies, on the other hand, got a taste of what the Cleveland Cavaliers bring this season.

Losing by 30 points comes as a bit of a shock for the National Basketball Association (NBA) fans who know the Grizzlies pretty well. However, they were playing against the Cavs who are returning with almost the same lineup with minimal changes. Take note as well that the Cavs played sans their star guard Kyrie Irving for the night.

The Grizzlies will barely have enough time to sulk as they face the Indiana Pacers. Memphis is expected to use its size to the hilt, but the team also needs to do a better job playing against the small yet offensive-minded Pacers.

Touted among the top teams in the Western Conference, the Grizzlies are expected to bounce back hard against the Pacers. But if George gets his rhythm and the follow, Memphis could find itself in trouble.

The Indiana Pacers host the Memphis Grizzlies at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse today, Oct. 29, with the game kicking off at 7 p.m. EST. The match can be viewed via live stream here.
