Daimler AG is taking another shot of its Mercedes-Maybach line with the introduction of the S 650 Cabriolet. The German automaker has created the first convertible of the series, and only 300 individuals can own them at any single time.

The company stated on its website that, "The Mercedes-Maybach S 650 is based on the open-top S-Class and has adopted the latter's classic aesthetic proportions, among other features, with highlights which include the dynamic silhouette with coupĂ©-like soft top and the sidewall dropping line which slopes down towards the rear."

The 2017 Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Cabriolet's powertrain is a 6.0-liter twin turbo V12 engine that produces between 621 and 625 horsepower and generates around 738 pound-feet of torque. It is then paired with a 7-speed 7G-Tronic transmission, which can catapult the beast from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.1 seconds. Its top speed is about 155 mph, according to Yibada.

Interiors will come in a two-tone combination and in full leather, complete with an intricate stitching design on its seats. It also offers a warming system to its passengers and an internal fragrance system. Everybody will feel nice and warm along the ride.

Car and Driver added that the exterior colors will have three options available: red with a black top, white with a blue top and blue with a beige top. The front fascia contains a newly designed bumper, a gorgeous looking air intake, and contains a lot of chrome.

A new 20-inch Maybach forged wheels with a bichromatic finish also comes along, and a Maybach logo is projected on the floor when the doors are open. Its headlights even contain Swarovski crystals for better dispersal of light.

Only 75 car collectors in the United States will have the chance to own one, while the rest will be distributed worldwide. S 650 owners will also have a four-piece color matching luggage, a Maybach-logo fob, as well as a matching car cover. An ownership certificate will also be included, personally signed by Dieter Zetsche, Daimler's CEO.

The 2017 Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Cabriolet will have a net price tag of 300,000 euros, which is approximately $322,000. Its production will begin next year.
