Despite the speculations regarding his employment status at the Konami entertainment company, game creator Hideo Kojima recently revealed the final poster for the highly-anticipated "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain," which is believed to be his last work for the series.

On his Twitter account, Kojima displayed the poster that shows the open world stealth video game's main protagonist, Snake, and his new adventure partner, Quiet, all drenched in thick blood. He also translated the poster's Japanese inscription in his text, which reads: "Stained In Blood, The Aftermath Of Revenge."

The game creator also explained that the new poster will be displayed in "limited stores" starting August.

But those who will look closely at the poster will easily notice that Kojima's name as well as the logo of his Kojima Productions game development studio are not included in the poster.

Reports about Kojima and Konami's falling out began in March after the Japanese entertainment company removed the game creator's name and production logo from the official Metal Gear Solid website.

Gamespot earlier claimed that power struggles that happened between the critically-acclaimed game director and the Tokyo-based computer entertainment company forced the top executives of Konami to change his employment status from a regular employee to a project contractor. Kojima and other senior developers will allegedly leave the company after "Metal Gear Solid V" is released.

While Kojima did not confirm the rumors, he released a joint statement with Konami, saying that he will still be totally involved with "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain."

"I'm determined to make it the greatest game I've directed to date. Don't miss it!" the game creator said.

Aside from the game's final poster, Kojima also showed "Metal Gear Solid V's" exclusively designed sneaking boots made by Puma.

Meanwhile, pre-orders for the limited-edition "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" PlayStation 4 console has been open for players in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe since June. The red and black colored console with gold trimmings was designed after Snake's signature bionic arm, while its gunmetal grey controller was given the iconic Diamond Dogs logo.

"Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" is slated for worldwide debut on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on Sept. 1, while the PC edition will come out on Sept. 15.
