"Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" is coming to the Gamescom 2015. What makes this special is that this will be the first time the public will get to see Snake in action and actually get to play the upcoming stealth video game.

Taking pride in their latest creation, game company Konami explains in a press release that the game "sets a new standard in stealth action" with its "intuitive, non-linear gameplay experience" as well as its sprawling open world settings, realistic day and night cycles and weather patterns.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and [Pro Evolution Soccer 2016] will be available for the public to play for the first time at this year's Gamescom; and that's the kind of line-up that packs a punch," General Manager at Konami Digital Entertainment Martin Schneider said.

"Konami is going to present two stunning games for the current console generation at the most important consumer exhibition in the world, and further showcases Konami's commitment to bringing AAA-titles to the consumer," he added.

This year's Gamescom will be held in Cologne, Germany from Aug. 5-9. For gamers who want to get a taste of "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain," Konami and PES 2016's joint booth is at Hall 7.1.

In the same press release, Konami says that the game's "famed sneaking elements greatly expanded, while a host of new characters – both allies and enemies – tell a story driven by revenge as franchise protagonist Big Boss enters a series of battlefields following the deaths of his colleagues."

Unfortunately, this will be the final game in its series, at least for game director Hideo Kojima, who freshly parted ways with Konami.

"With Metal Gear Solid 5, I'm finally closing the loop on that saga. In that sense, this will be the final Metal Gear Solid. Even if the Metal Gear franchise continues, to me, this is the last Metal Gear," Kojima said to IGN

"Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" will be released for the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 on Sept. 1. The PC version is slated for release on Sept. 15.
