Methodists Transforming Lives in Colombia

In communities where drugs and violence are widespread, the Methodist Church in Colombia has been changing lives through courageous love and service. In the face of severe poverty, the church is alongside the people in their quest for justice.

Now a new DVD, Building a Church in Colombia, tells the story of how this church began and of all it does to work for peace and justice for the country's three million displaced people.

Rev Tom Quenet, World Church Secretary for the Americas and the Caribbean for the Methodist Church, said: "After a troubled birth, the Methodist Church in Colombia has emerged to bring hope into the tough world of drugs and violence for which Colombia is known.
