Mexico vs Canada live stream: Watch online Gold Cup 2013 soccer tournament

Mexico will look to revive their Gold Cup 2013 campaign on Thursday night when they take on Canada in their second game of the tournament. Mexico suffered a major disappointment in their opening game as they lost to Panama in the biggest shock of the tournament so far.

They will be looking to right things tonight with a good performance and more importantly all three points from their game with Canada. The match kicks off at 11 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream on Fox Soccer via the link provided below.

Canada are also a team struggling, and they too lost their opening match of this year's Gold Cup. Canada suffered a 1-0 defeat to tiny Martinique on Sunday, and they now have to lift themselves in a big way to get results against Mexico and Panama if they want to keep their chances alive to progress to the knock out stages of the competition.

The last time Mexico and Canada played each other in a Gold Cup game was in the 2000 tournament. The 90 minutes ended with the scores level at 1-1, forcing extra time at the Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. However, that game was one of the high points in Canadian soccer, as a Richard Hastings' golden goal – incidentally the only goal he ever scored for Canada – knocked the Mexicans out.

Canada amazingly won that Gold Cup in 2000, but they have been unable to match that achievement since. But coming up against Mexico in a must win game will inspire the players and they will be looking to raise their game to try and cause another shock and while keeping their own hopes alive also knock out the Mexico team.

Since 2000 Mexico and Canada have met one another four times, with Mexico winning twice and there being two draws between the pair. Canada's last win against Mexico was that 2000 Gold Cup golden goal result.
